Twitter responds as you would expect to Donald Trump’s tweet about anti-police protesters in Boston for counter protest to white nationalist event. There was no anti-cop protest. He deliberately ignores the 45,000 peaceful anti-racist protesters who marched.

Trump tweeted:  “Looks like many anti-police agitators in Boston. Police are looking tough and smart! Thank your.”

He is trying to find some way to justify his despicable comments about “many sides” after the white supremacist violence turned deadly in Charlottesville last weekend. It’s interesting that he didn’t attack white supremacist thug Christopher Cantwell, an ex-drug dealer, who is literally a police agitator. He praised the murder of counter protester Heather Heyer by Nazi sympathizer James Alex Fields.

Trump later tweeted praise for the protesters. Um, Hope Hicks to the rescue: “I want to applaud the many protestors in Boston who are speaking out against bigotry and hate. Our country will soon come together as one!” My guess is that someone else sent the second tweet.
