Twitter explodes after Donald Trump fails to specifically repudiate white nationalists, white supremacists and the alt-right movement after protests turned deadly in Charlottesville, Va., on Saturday. “Not Donald Trump” is trending after Trump’s lukewarm repudiation of the violence.

Trump said, “”We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides. On many sides.”

He seems to think that white nationalist terrorists have a right under the constitution to do what they did today:

Donald Trump couldn’t bring himself to repudiate white supremacists directly. This is the man who led the birther movement against Barack Obama for years. It’s a disgrace that he cannot utter the words to disavow. Pretty shameful.
