SMDH: Donald Trump Attacks “Nasty” San Juan Mayor Over Puerto Rico Response Criticism

Donald Trump called yet another woman “nasty.” He said San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz, over her Puerto Rico response criticism. He said Cruz, “who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump.”

Trump went on a tweetstorm this morning as more and more people are sounding the alarm about his administration botched handling of the relief efforts in Puerto Rico. The rant comes after Cruz slammed FEMA

He accused Cruz and “others in Puerto Rico” of “poor leadership ability,” “who are not able to get their workers to help.” SMH.

“They want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort,” Trump tweeted, adding that “10,000 Federal workers now on Island doing a fantastic job.”

He claims the Puerto Ricans aren’t doing enough to help themselves. I can’t recall hearing him say that about residents of Texas and Florida in the aftermath of hurricanes Harvey and Jose. Of course, this is all about race — brown, black and Taino people.

Trump’s rant comes after Cruz blasted Elaine Duke, acting secretary of Homeland Security, for saying that the response by federal authorities as a “good news story.” Duke said, “I know it’s a hard storm to recover from, but I know it is really a good news story in terms of our ability to reach people and the limited number of deaths that have taken place in such a devastating hurricane.”

Cruz clapped back saying, “Dammit, this is not a good news story. This is a people are dying story. This is a life or death story. Of course, never one to take the high road and act “presidential,” Donald Trump insults Puerto Rico.

You will recall he also called Hillary Clinton “a nasty woman” when he hit him hard during one of the presidential debates. He has zero respect for women. Period.

Mayor Cruz responded by focusing on Puerto Rico: “The goal is one: saving lives. This is the time to show our “true colors”. We cannot be distracted by anything else.”
