Twitter Responds with Mockery After Donald Trump Melts Down Over Books Written About Him

Twitter responded as you would expect to Donald Trump’s meltdown about people writing books and articles about him — with mockery. He tweeted: “Fascinating to watch people writing books and major articles about me and yet they know nothing about me & have zero access. #FAKE NEWS!”

Trump is most likely fuming over two new books that slam him in different ways — Hillary Clinton’s What Happened and MSNBC’s Katy Tur’s “Unbelievable: My Front Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History.” They both came out today.

Tur writes that she was the victim of an unwelcome kiss from Trump on the set of Morning Joe during the 2016 presidential campaign. “Before I know what’s happening, his hands are on my shoulders and his lips are on my cheek. My eyes widen. My body freezes. My heart stops. Fuck. I hope the cameras didn’t see that. My bosses are never going to take me seriously,” she wrote.

Clinton also slammed Trump as a creep for stalking her on the debate stage. She wrote, “It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching “well, what would you do?” Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry-on as if he weren’t repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye, and say loudly and clearly “back up you creep, get away from me! I know you love to intimidate women, but you can’t intimidate me, so back up.”

It’s funny that Donald Trump should whine about fake news when he took out a full page ad calling for the death penalty for the Central Park Five, who were exonerated. He also led the racist birther movement about former President Obama and then accused him of wiretapping his phones in Trump tower. All were lies….fake news.

Twitter hit back with mockery:
