British health secretary Jeremy Hunt clapped back at Donald Trump’s false universal health care claims about thousands of people marching in the streets.
Hunt tweeted: “I may disagree with claims made on that march but not ONE of them wants to live in a system where 28m people have no cover.”
“NHS may have challenges but I’m proud to be from the country that invented universal coverage – where all get care no matter the size of their bank balance,” he added.

Trump tried to use the protests in London over health care cuts to bolster his false narrative against universal health care in America.
The Democrats are pushing for Universal HealthCare while thousands of people are marching in the UK because their U system is going broke and not working. Dems want to greatly raise taxes for really bad and non-personal medical care. No thanks!

I want to know how many times is Donald Trump going diss the United Kingdom and Prime Minister Theresa May sit back and do nothing? Cancel his visit — working or state visit.
Reaction on Twitter from British lawmakers and others:
Wrong. People were marching because we love our NHS and hate what the Tories are doing to it. Healthcare is a human right. https://t.co/Pmo2xYSqZh

Donald Trump has just insulted the NHS – saying it ‘isn’t working’. Tell that to the millions of lives it saves every day. RT if you agree he should mind his own business!! pic.twitter.com/Zfs2bxM3k9

Our march was IN FAVOUR of universal socialised healthcare and against private company involvement. You need to pay attention.

Now #Trump @realDonaldTrump exposing again his utter ignorance about #Britain – this time on our proud #NHS – exactly opposite to what he’s doing in US. Shows *exactly* what risks we’d face in any US trade deal due to #Brexit @vaughangething @Open_Britain https://t.co/gnRjX4j6lm
