Twitter responds to Donald Trump’s claim that his fake Spygate is one of the biggest political scandals in history: “No, actually your election was,” one user responded. The closer special counsel Robert Mueller comes to the truth, the more erratic and scared Trump becomes. Clearly, this is not the behavior of someone with nothing to hide.

Trump tweeted:  “SPYGATE” could be one of the biggest political scandals in history!”

He initially tweeted:  “If the person placed very early into my campaign wasn’t a SPY put there by the previous Administration for political purposes, how come such a seemingly massive amount of money was paid for services rendered – many times higher than normal…”

An innocent person doesn’t try to obstruct an investigation. He’s guilty AF. MSNBC’s Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough erupted into laughter as he addressed Trump’s spygate tweet:  “I don’t really know where to begin. Spygate? I mean, you have a guy that Donald Trump says is running his foreign policy getting drunk and talking to the Australian ambassador and bragging about contacts with the Russians, and the FBI is tipped off by the Australian ambassador and they start moving forward.”

George Papadopoulos, who Trump claimed was a low-level campaign aide, pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI as part of the Mueller probe. News broke yesterday that the business partner of Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, is also cooperating with the Mueller probe after accepting a plea deal.

Scarborough continued: “There are still people who actually can think clearly in this country and for those who can, it’s very obvious that Robert Mueller is getting closer and closer and closer to something that scares the ever-living hell out of Donald Trump. Now he is apparently responding today to a plea deal by the taxi king yesterday that is going to take down his fixer, and Donald Trump obviously now unbelievably fearful that it’s going to take him down as well.”

The real shame is that the FBI felt compelled to have eyes and ears on the campaign because of the links between Trump and his aides to Russia. He’s a Putin asset. Period.
