Flagstaff rookie police officer Tyler Jacob Stewart died after sustaining injuries in an officer-involved shooting on Saturday.

The suspect involved in the shooting, Robert W. Smith of Prescott, Ariz., also died as a result of injuries sustained in the shooting.

Smith was wanted for questioning in a domestic violence investigation.

Flagstaff PD Sgt. Margaret Bentzen said Robert Smith shot Officer Stewart multiple times before committing suicide from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Officer Tyler Stewart served less than a year with the Flagstaff Police Department.

Officer Charles Kondek, with the Tarpon Springs Police Department, was fatally shot by Marco Antonio Parilla Jr., early Sunday morning in Tarpon Springs, Fla.

Parilla was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the Kondek’s shooting.

Officer Kondek, 45, was a 17-year veteran of the force. He previously worked with the NYPD. He leaves behind five children.

A police officer was fatally shot in Tarpon Springs, Fla., early Sunday morning. The suspect, a male, is in police custody.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference later on Sunday.

This shooting comes as NYPD officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were killed execution-style by Ismaaiyl Brinsley as they sat in their squad car in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section on Brooklyn on Sunday.

Brinsley had left hints on Instagram about his intentions to avenge the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

Deputy Oliver was killed in the initial shooting at a Motel 6 after he and his partner responded to the motel on Arden Way on a suspicious vehicle call. The suspect opened fire from inside the vehicle. Oliver died at the scene after being shot in the forehead.

Deputy Danny Oliver was a 15-year veteran of the force. He leaves behind a wife and two children.

Marcelo Marquez attempted to carjack a vehicle in a nearby neighborhood. The owner of the vehicle, a Ford F-150 pickup truck was shot in the head after fighting back. The condition of that person is unknown. Another deputy was injured.

UPDATE 10:00 P.M. EST:  The second deputy killed has been identified as Placer County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael David Davis Jr., 42. He leaves behind a wife and four children.

TRAGEDY: Two troopers were ambushed outside the state police barracks in Blooming Grove, Pa., Friday night. Cpl. Bryon Dickson was killed and Trooper Alex Douglass is hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Law enforcement have launched a manhunt for the killer(s) in the Pocono Mountain region, on foot and by helicopter.

State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan said one trooper was leaving the barracks and another was arriving when shots were fired at 10:50 p.m. Friday.

Gov. Tom Corbett has released the following statement on the shooting:

“Our prayers go out to the family, friends and colleagues of the Pennsylvania State Police trooper who was killed in the line of duty Friday night outside the Blooming Grove, Pike County, state police barracks. We are praying as well, for the full recovery of his colleague who was injured in the incident.

“Every attack on an officer of the law is an attack on our state, our country and civilized society. The incident in Blooming Grove shows, once again, that our first responders face constant danger in order that the rest of us may live in peace and safety.

“At this time, State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan and Pennsylvania State Police troopers are working with local and other law enforcement agencies to apprehend the person or persons who carried out this cowardly act. We ask the public to be patient as well as vigilant.”

TRAGEDY:  Michael Pimentel, the police chief for Elmendorf, TX, was shot and killed by Joshua Manuel Lopez, during a traffic stop Saturday afternoon.

Lopez, 24, was arrested and faces charges of capital murder of a police officer, Rosanne Hughes, spokeswoman for the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, said.

Police Chief Pimentel pulled over Joshua Manuel Lopez in a residential area, a struggle ensued and he was shot multiple times, Hughes said. Pimentel later died in a local hospital.

Lopez had an active misdemeanor warrant for graffiti at the time he was pulled over.

Police Chief Michael Pimentel previously served as police chief of the San Antonio Independent School District, Officer Down Memorial Page reports.

Indianapolis Patrolman Perry Renn was shot and killed during a shoot-out in an Eastside alley Saturday night. Renn, a 21-year veteran of the force was the second Indianapolis police officer killed in the line of duty in less than a year.

Police say Patrolman Perry Renn and two other officers responded to a report of shots fired at 34th Street and Forest Manor Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. The officers encountered Major Davis Jr., 25, brandishing an assault rifle. A shoot-out ensued and Patrolman Renn was shot. The suspect was struck and is listed in critical condition.

FALLEN POLICE OFFICER: Griffin Police Officer Kevin Jordan was shot and killed early Saturday morning at a Waffle House restaurant.

Ex-Marine Kevin Jordan, 43, was working overnight as a security guard at the restaurant when three people walked into the restaurant causing a scene. Jordan escorted them outside into the parking lot and Chantell Mixon started fighting the officer. He tried to arrest her.

Michael Bowman, 30, of Griffin, shot Officer Jordan multiple times in the back as he handcuffed Nixon on the ground.

Officer Jordan’s brother, Raymond Jordan, who was visiting him at the restaurant, had a permit to carry a gun, and fired back at Michael Bowman, who has been hospitalized as a result of being shot.

Michael Bowman and Chantell Mixon were charged with Officer Jordan’s murder, while a third suspect, Tyler Taylor, 23, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Two other suspects are in police custody. Officer Kevin Jordan served on the force for four years.

Windermere Cop Robert German Killed After Encountering ‘Suspicious’ Couple

Windermere Police Officer Robert German was shot and killed early Saturday after he stopped to question a couple who were later found dead of suspected suicides.

Officer German called for backup around 3;30 a.m. after encountering a man and a woman, in their early 20s, who he deemed suspicious. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the officer shot. They had to take cover after two more gunshots were fired about a block away, the Orlando Sentinel reported. Those shots are believed to have claimed the lives of the two suspects.

The bodies of the unidentified deceased couple were found on the grounds of a multimillion dollar home, dead from suspected self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

Officer Robert German, a five-year veteran of the Windermere Police Department, is survived by his parents. He graduated from Lake Mary High School, then studied at the Seminole State College police academy.

Mendocino County Sheriff Tom Allman confirms Sheriff’s Deputy Ricky Del Fiorentino killed near Fort Bragg, Calif. The suspect, who was identified as Ricardo Anthony Chaney, committed suicide.

Sheriff Allman said Deputy Ricky Del Fiorentino’s vehicle was “riddled with bullets.” He also said Chaney, an Oregon resident,  had been on a crime spree that started earlier on Wednesday in Eugene, including armed robbery, kidnapping and forcing victims into the trunk of a 2006 BMW 330.
