WTF: Twitter User Accuses Obama Administration of Assassinating LA Coroner’s Official Michael Cromier Over Andrew Breitbart Probe

Los Angeles Coroner’s official Michael Cormier died last week and sources cited by the Los Angeles Times, state law enforcement officials believe Cormier may have been poisoned. Well, the story is making the rounds on Twitter, with many under the impression that Cormier was responsible for investigating the cause of conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart’s death.

Of course, President Obama is accused for assassinating Andrew Breitbart and Michael Cromier in one tweet:

There is no evidence tying Michael Cormier to the investigation of Andrew Breitbart’s death. It just shows how things, flawed or inconclusive, take root and spread like wild fire on Twitter. Too many people are elevating Andrew Breitbart to a status of such importance that the Obama administration would go out of its way to kill him. That’s just not so.

SHAME:  On-duty Memphis police officer Dion Anthony was allegedly caught having sex in his squad car. The incident was caught on a radio broadcast that is now part of an open investigation by the police department.

Sergeant Karen Rudolph says every Memphis Police Officer is given two modes of radio communication: a shoulder microphone that stays with them and a console mic that stays in their squad car.

“Rather than picking up the phone, we use what’s given to us with our consoles and microphones. A lot of times it’s our life lines,” she said.

There’s no word yet on which microphone our sources say broadcast Officer Dion Anthony having sex in his squad car while on duty. But there is a recording because Sgt. Rudolph says every radio communication is recorded. Source: MyFoxMemphis

The police aren’t sure who the woman was, but Dion Anthony has been relieved of his duties, pending the outcome of the investigation. This is the second cop we have covered caught having sex on the job. SMH.

SHAME:  Mount Sterling OH police department shut down amid claims of a cover-up after an officer allegedly tasered a nine year old boy because he didn’t want to go to school. Police chief Mike McCoy was also suspended for three days and was accused of hiding the incident from city officials.

The town’s part-time officer was called to an apartment where a child was refusing to go to school, according to reports.

But during the call out, the visit became hostile and a taser was used to subdue the unnamed boy, Madison County Prosecutor Steve Pronai said. Source: Daily Mail

The police department’s computers and weapons were also seized, and state investigators have been brought in to launch an investigation.

Former New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin reportedly under investigation into whether or not he received favors or items of value from vendors to the city in return for contracts they received while he was in office, Reuters reports. The investigation also involves several people linked to Ray Nagin or to the city’s administration during his two terms in office ending in 2010. Ray Nagin, who is black, came under fire for urging residents to rebuild a “chocolate New Orleans,” in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

URGENT:  Missing mother of two, Rochelle Alicia Thomas, was found dead behind the Harmony Crossroads Apartments on Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro. Police have characterized her death as a homicide. Rochelle Alicia Thomas dropped off her kids at school Wednesday morning, but did not return to pick them up in the afternoon. Her mother reported her missing, but when her body was found, she had no identification on her, the AJC reports.

Rochelle Alicia Thomas’ car was found Thursday afternoon in Clayton County. The autopsy has been completed, but police aren’t releasing that information, including the cause of death. Police are looking at some persons of interest, but no-one has been arrested. Investigators believe Rochelle Alicia Thomas knew her killer. Anacostia restaurateur Natasha Dasher, two others were charged in a federal drug-trafficking investigation that tracked 65 kilograms of cocaine from Texas to her office in Fort Washington. According to the Washington Post, Dasher’s bar, Uniontown Bar and Grill, has become a popular hang-out spot in Southeast Washington.

Dasher, who arrived at the office complex shortly after the truck pulled in, confirmed to the agents that the truck driver, Manuel Jesus Robles, had entered her office, according to the affidavit. Dasher provided the agents with a key to the suite, and when they went inside, they found Robles and three large duffel bags containing about $1.5 million, the affidavit says. Robles told agents that 65 kilograms of cocaine could be found in the fuel tank of the truck, according to the affidavit.

Agents seized the money, as well as the cocaine, which was to be divided between Dasher and alleged co-conspirator Derek Anthony Tinsley, the affidavit says. Source

This is a sad turn of events for a woman, who had proved to be a mover and shaker in the Washington D.C. area. This meteoric rise was nothing short of incredulous and was nothing more than a facade for an alleged drug trafficking business that may have helped to fund her restaurant venture. All three were charged in U.S. District Court in Maryland and Texas with possession with the intent to distribute at least five kilograms of cocaine. My late maternal grandmother always said, whatever is done in the dark, will come to light…..

Atlanta Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed’s older brother Tracy Reed under investigation for driving city vehicles for several years on an expired license. How did he get away with this for so long? Wouldn’t one realize their license had expired? What the heck.

In addition, officials confirmed the city’s law department is investigating an Oct. 28 traffic stop in which Tracy Reed, who has been employed by the city of Atlanta for 12 years, was apparently allowed to drive away without a ticket after being stopped while driving with a suspended license.

At that time, there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest stemming from a failure to appear in court on Oct. 6 to answer charges of driving with a suspended license. The fact that he was allowed to drive away that night raised questions of whether he received special treatment from the police.

Tracy Reed’s lawyer, Robert Highsmith, said his client didn’t know why the license was suspended or for how long it had been suspended. He said he got Reed’s court date reset to Jan. 10 on Thursday and the arrest warrant has been canceled. It is routine to have failure-to-appear warrants withdrawn after a court date is reset. Source

I won’t throw Kasim Reed under the bus for his brother’s actions. It speaks to Tracy Reed’s lack of integrity and yes, he got over because of his name. I would love to know how the police officer who pulled him over, and ran his driver’s license, didn’t arrest him after discovering he had an outstanding warrant? It’s ironic that Tracy Reed works in the Office of Compliance and failed to do just that — comply with the law.

After viewing the entire 15 minute video, there is no doubt in my mind that the officer was being completely unreasonable. Even after hospital representatives vouched for Moats’ story, the officer continued to detain and lecture Moats.

The video speaks for itself, and officer Robert Powell should be fired!

We’ve obtained the police car dash cam videos, and you can decide for yourself whether the officer behaved inappropriately.
