A Clayton County, Ga., judge denied bail for the father and stepmother of a 13-year-old boy who was found living behind a fake wall in a linen closet after being reported missing four years ago.
The boy’s father, Gregory Jean, 37, and stepmother, Samantha Joy Davis, 42, were denied bail during their first court appearance Sunday morning on charges of false imprisonment, obstruction and child cruelty charges.
Clayton County rescued the unidentified boy after receiving phone calls about a problem at couple’s Jonesboro home starting Friday night. Police did not locate the boy during the first visit Friday night, but were successful on Saturday when they went back a second time.
The boy has since been reunited with his mother.
