Braylon Robinson killed

A one-year-old boy was accidentally shot and killed by a three-year-old boy at a home on East 63rd Street in Cleveland, OH, on Sunday. The medical examiner identified the decedent as Braylon Robinson, ABC 5 reports.

Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams said the person responsible for bringing the gun into the home and leaving it within reach of a small child may face charges. He blamed America’s preoccupation with handguns as the underlying problem.

Was that booty call really worth leaving her son in the woods? Shameful. Absolutely shameful.

Williams said, “The fascination with handguns, not just in the city, but in the country, has to stop. We need to take a long look at what we’re doing on the state, local and national level to keep these guns out of our communities.”

Police say Bates thought he pulled out his Taser while trying to arrest Eric Courtney Harris, but instead fatally shot the suspect.

The shooting occurred after a drug and gun selling operation by the Tulsa Violent Crimes task force on Thursday. Bates, who is a member of the task force, was part of a group of officers trying to arrest Harris in the parking lot of a Dollar General Store.

Eric Courtney Harris, a convicted felon, sold a pistol to undercover officers. He fled after being confronted by arresting officers. Police say they “observed him reaching for his waistband area…causing concern for the deputies safety.”

Police nabbed Harris after a brief protest. He continued to resist arrest after he was forced to the ground. He “refused to pull his left arm from underneath his body where his hand was near his waistband.”

Police say Robert Bates “was attempting to use less lethal force, believing he was utilizing a Taser, when he inadvertently discharged his service weapon, firing one round which struck Harris.”

Carjacking suspect Anthony Stokes, 17, dies after police chase and striking a pedestrian in Roswell, Ga., Tuesday afternoon.

Stokes gained national attention when he was denied a heart transplant because of “a history on non-compliance,” which included brushes with the law. During his journey in 2013, he asked for a second chance. It would seem that he didn’t learn from the error of his ways.

Police say Anthony Stokes carjacked a Honda from Perimeter Mall, then shot at an elderly woman during a burglary attempt on Alpine Drive in Roswell.

The pedestrian he struck has been identified as Clementina Hernandez, 33, of Roswell.

Police chased Anthony Stokes after spotting him on Alpharetta Highway following the attempted burglary.

In 2013, Stokes told WSB-TV’s Jovita Moore, that “the heart transplant would help straighten out his life.” “So I can live a second chance. Get a second chance and do things I want to do,” Anthony Stokes said.
