Jamie Foxx is hosting Saturday Night Live and the right wing is sure to be upset with his reference to President Obama being back in the White House, “how black is that?” He said “my president, President Obama is back in the White House for four more years” and he will be “extra black these next four years.”

“…Now the first four years was the white side of him, because I don’t know if you saw him on Ellen when he was dancing and everything. I don’t know what this is. That wasn’t President Obama, that was President Barry Gibb Obama. But the next four years he’s even changing his name from to President Barack Dikembe Mutombo Tupac Mandela Hussein Obama X.”

Here’s Jamie Foxx “How Black is That” monologue:

I knew right wing blogger Noel Sheppard from News Busters would throw a hissy-fit over the comedian’s comments. The Drudge Report is also running with this as the first link on its page. Here’s what Sheppard wrote today:

How does it help race relations in this country when a black actor jokes on national television about killing white people? One has to believe that his opening monologue was approved by SNL’s writers, meaning they were in on it.

Imagine the uproar if a white actor joked about killing all the black people in a new film he was starring in. That would probably be the end of his career. By contrast, for Foxx, this will probably win him another Oscar.

Jamie Foxx also mocked Tyler Perry as Alex Cross, playing two characters — Alex Cross and Madea — in Alex Cross 2. It was funny, though I think his performance so far is pretty flat, particularly during the game show skit. The use of the b-word was just a bit too much for me.

Jamie Foxx hosts SNL, mocks Tyler Perry playing Alex Cross and Madea in split personality.

One thing was evident during SNL, is that Jamie Foxx is a decent singer and dancer, a good actor and a mostly funny comedian, who will certainly ruffle some feathers during his performance. He was promoting his Christmas blockbuster, “Django Unchained,” starring Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kerry Washington, set to open December 25.

Noel Sheppard at Newsbusters is going nuts over a comment Jamie Foxx made at the  Soul Train Music Awards which aired on BET and Centric Sunday night — “First of all, give an honor to God and our lord and savior Barack Obama.” Um, I didn’t realize Noel Sheppard watched BET.

So, it’s okay to call President Obama a Communist, a terrorist lover, Muslim, a foreigner and all manner of names, but it’s a problem when he is called a “savior” by a black person? I am pretty sure Jamie Foxx could care less what Noel Sheppard and his right wing buddies think.  I’m sure Michelle Malkin must be frothing at the mouth over this too.
