I double dog dare Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer to listen to conservative windbag Rush Limbaugh and sign the new Jim Crow bill, SB 1062 ( the Religious Freedom Restoration Act). I might also add that Georgia Republicans are trying to ram an equally controversial bill down our throats too.

Right talk radio is turning its focus this week to Arizona’s controversial bill that would allow business owners to deny service to gay and lesbian customers, and Rush Limbaugh is leading with the charge that Gov. Jan Brewer is being “bullied” into vetoing the measure “in order to advance the gay agenda.”

Limbaugh on Tuesday told his listeners that the media’s “soap storyline of the hour” is whether or not Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer will veto SB 1062, which the state’s legislature passed last week.

“Religious beliefs can’t be used to stop anything the left wants to impose, unless they’re Muslim religious beliefs and then we have to honor those. But any other religious beliefs are not permitted,” Limbaugh said. “The left will not allow them. Now, the current thinking is that Gov. Brewer will probably veto the bill, which, you might think on the face of it will make her a hero with the news media and the rest of the left.”

Sure, it might make her a hero, he said — “for five minutes.” And then she’ll go back to being a “near criminal conservative Republican,” Limbaugh continued, because “their reaction will be, what took her so long? Why did she even consider not vetoing this?”

“She’s being bullied by the homosexual lobby in Arizona and elsewhere,” he said. “She’s being bullied by the nationwide drive-by media, she’s being bullied by certain elements of corporate America in order to advance the gay agenda. I guess in that circumstance bullying is admirable. In fact, this kind of bullying is honorable.” Source: Politico

Rush Limbaugh Fantasizes About Barack Obama Cheating on Michelle Obama

Carnival barker Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday said he wished President Obama would cheat on First Lady Michelle Obama because it would make for a better scandal than the scandal engulfing New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s administration over the lane closures on the George Washington Bridge last year.

Mediaite recorded Limbaugh saying, “Why can’t we have Obama running around on Michelle or something?””Wouldn’t that be a much better scandal than Christie and bridge lane closures, for crying out loud?” He clarified that was just a day dream.

He fantasized about an Obama cheating scandal while discussing the drama in France over the revelation that Francois Hollande is having an affair, saying, “Why can’t we have scandals like that anymore?” “The socialists, in one sense of the word, know how to live.”

Um, whatever….

Fox News’ Brit Hume: GOP on ‘Suicide Missions’ by Taking Cue from Rush Limbaugh & Conservative Talk Radio

Fox News’ Brit Hume told Bill O’Reilly that conservative talk radio hosts are causing the Republican Party to go on “suicide missions.” Hume said the party is unable to govern that it’s taking its cues from conservative talk radio hosts such as Rush Limbaugh.

While he wouldn’t go so far as to say conservative radio hosts are “calling the shots” in Congress, he did say that they have used their “real influence” to promote primary challengers against what they view as insufficiently conservative incumbents. “Keeping radio talk show hosts off their back” Hume said, “is one way” for members of Congress to avoid that fate.

As Bill O’Reilly summed up Hume’s point, “You believe that in Congress, if somebody has to run every two years as they do, and they get on the wrong side of a powerful radio voice… they can really do them bad damage if they promote the other guy.”

The first person Mr. Green Eggs and Ham Sen. Ted Cruz ran to after his ridiculous 21-hour-19-minutes fake filibuster was Rush Limbaugh. Hume forgot to include fellow Fox News personality Sean Hannity to the mix. He has made it his duty to attack President Obama every chance he gets. Even when it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Joe Scarborough: Right Wing Talkers on TV, Radio Tell Voters Only Whites Welcome in GOP

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough tore into the Republican Party saying they are focusing on the wrong issues in their efforts to assemble voters that can win a presidential election. He lambasted the party leadership for pandering to talk radio and cable news that communicate one message to voters – if you’re not white, you’re really not welcome in this party.” Amen.

There’s more.

Scarborough said that Republicans are overly antagonistic to members of the LGBT community who care about gay marriage, or Latinos who care about immigration issues, or African-Americans who care about discrimination issues.

“You take Trayvon Martin, it would have cost republican leaders absolutely nothing,” Scarborough said to Ed Rendell, “absolutely nothing, to just show a little respect.”

“It doesn’t cost you anything to stay off of talk radio or prime time cable news shows where you get in the middle of this divisive debate and send a message to African-Americans and other minorities you don’t care,” he continued.

“These people on talk radio, these people on cable news that are saying these things that are driving off the very swing voters we need to get elected to the White House again,” Scarborough concluded. He advocated for high-profile politicians to publically castigate Republican talkers in cable news and on talk radio to win back minority voters. Source: Mediaite

There you have it in a nutshell, the reason why I won’t ever vote for a Republican presidential candidate. The denigration of the black and LGBT communities are just the tip of the iceberg. What people like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, and others are saying, we can insult you, but still want you to vote for our guy. Um, like SNL’s George H. W. Bush character (played by Dana Carvey) would say, “not gonna happen.”

I would encourage all my readers, if you haven’t registered to vote, please do so now. Every vote counts. We have to stand up and fight. There is strength in numbers. The Republicans would like nothing better than for us to stay home on election day, so any moron they present as their presidential nominee will win.

Rush Limbaugh Attacks Rachel Jeantel Saying She Called Zimmerman a ‘Homosexual Predator’

Rush Limbaugh attacks Trayvon Martin’s friend Rachel Jeantel over comments she made on the Piers Morgan show, saying she called George Zimmerman a ‘homosexual predator,’ and warned ‘gay men go after children. I didn’t realize Rush Limbaugh was an advocate for the gay community. We may have another Sandra Fluke moment from Rush Limbaugh!  Of course, the Drudge Report freak-out continues as Matt Drudge also goes after Maya Angelou for voicing her opinion, as though he could somehow walk in her shoes…..

Rush Limbaugh Attacks Rachel Jeantel Saying She Called Zimmerman a ‘Homosexual Predator’

Here’s an excerpt of Rush Limbaugh interpretation of Rachel Jeantel’s comments:

I thought, when I heard this last night, that that’s all anybody’d be talking about today, because this throws this thing 180 degrees out of phase.  So now Trayvon Martin, who is the recipient of full-fledged, 100% victim status? It turns out could well be a gay basher, and the left has been defending him.  So what do they do?  They have two interest groups here that they represent and champion: African-Americans and homosexuals, and in this incident, the object of their affection (in this case, Trayvon Martin), might have thought he was being pursued by a gay guy and beat him up, or tried to.

I figured they’d be very conflicted today.

But that hasn’t come up anywhere.

Now I think I understand why.  It’s precisely because nobody wants to get near it.  Nobody wants to get anywhere near this.  Those words of Rachel’s are gone, into the ether, never to be remembered until the EIB Network kicked off at noon.  Now, one sound bite here before we go to the obscene profit break.  This morning on CNN’s Newsroom, the anchorette, Carol Costello, is speaking with criminal defense attorney Mark NeJame about Martin’s friend Rachel Jeantel’s appearance on Piers Morgan Live.
Rush Limbaugh says Trayvon Martin could be a gay basher. Unbelievable.

The “leader” of the Republican Party, Rush Limbaugh, is spouting off again. As usual, he’s oblivious to facts and has elevated himself and Fox News to such a level that they can stop the granting of “amnesty.” The guy continues to be a joke:

“Yesterday we had to get rid of our guns. Today we gotta grant amnesty… They’re running the no-huddle offense on us. We don’t even have time to catch our breath. They’re running play after play after play.” — Rush Limbaugh, on his radio show.

I don’t understand why Sen. Marco Rubio felt he had to go on Rush Limbaugh’s show to explain why he’s for immigration reform. Oh, yeah, Rush is his boss.

Batman’s Bane Character Creator Chuck Dixon Says Mitt Romney More Like Bruce Wayne

Batman’s Bane character creator Chuck Dixon speaks:  One day after conservative windbag Rush Limbaugh claimed the new Batman blockbuster “Dark Knight Rises” villain Bane was part of a liberal conspiracy against Mitt Romney, the creator the the character, Chuck Dixon, speaks out, saying it’s silly to allege a liberal conspiracy.

“The idea that there’s some kind of liberal agenda behind the use of Bane in the new movie is silly,” Dixon told ComicBook.com. “I refuted this within hours of the article in the Washington Examiner suggesting that Bane would be tied to Bain Capital and Mitt Romney appearing. Bane was created by me and Graham Nolan and we are lifelong conservatives and as far from left-wing mouthpieces as you are likely to find in comics.”

“As for his appearance in The Dark Knight Rises, Bane is a force for evil and the destruction of the status quo. He’s far more akin to an Occupy Wall Street type if you’re looking to cast him politically. And if there ever was a Bruce Wayne running for the White House it would have to be Romney.” Source

It’s actually funny that college drop-out and pill popper Rush Limbaugh claims there’s a liberal conspiracy without actually doing his home work. This character has been around for quite a few years. Well before Mitt Romney threw his hat in the ring for the presidency. It should also be noted that Chuck Dixon is a conservative, who claims Romney is more like Bruce Wayne (nauseating).

Rush Limbaugh suggests that the upcoming Batman blockbuster, “Dark Knight Rises,” is part of a liberal media conspiracy to mock Mitt Romney with the villain Bane (Bain Capital). Um, hasn’t this character been around for eons? This comes just one day after Rush Limbaugh said President Obama “hates” America:

RUSH: Have you heard this new movie, the Batman movie, what is it, The Dark Knight Lights Up or whatever the name is. That’s right, Dark Knight Rises. Lights Up, same thing. Do you know the name of the villain in this movie? Bane. The villain in The Dark Knight Rises is named Bane, B-a-n-e. What is the name of the venture capital firm that Romney ran and around which there’s now this make-believe controversy? Bain. The movie has been in the works for a long time. The release date’s been known, summer 2012 for a long time. Do you think that it is accidental that the name of the really vicious fire breathing four eyed whatever it is villain in this movie is named Bane?

So, anyway, this evil villain in the new Batman movie is named Bane. And there’s now a discussion out there as to whether or not this is purposeful and whether or not it will influence voters. It’s gonna have a lot of people. This movie, the audience is gonna be huge. A lot of people are gonna see the movie, and it’s a lot of brain-dead people, entertainment, the pop culture crowd, and they’re gonna hear Bane in the movie and they’re gonna associate Bain. The thought is that when they start paying attention to the campaign later in the year, and Obama and the Democrats keep talking about Bain, Romney and Bain, that these people will think back to the Batman movie, “Oh, yeah, I know who that is.” (laughing) There are some people who think it’ll work. Others think you’re really underestimating the American people to think that will work.

Rush Limbaugh Slams Toni Morrison Medal of Freedom Award Over Clinton ‘First Black President’ Comment

Rush Limbaugh slams Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Toni Morrison, calling her a Socialist and mocking her comments that former president Bill Clinton was the first black president, Wednes on his syndicated radio show.  It’s actually a little funny that she made those comments years ago, only to accept such an award from the first black president. Here are Rush Limbaugh’s words:

Here’s what Toni Morrison said: “White skin notwithstanding, this is our first black President. Blacker than any actual black person who could ever be elected in our children’s lifetime. After all, Clinton displays almost every trope of blackness: single-parent household, born poor, working-class, saxophone-playing, McDonald’s-and-junk-food-loving boy from Arkansas.”

That woman who said that, who wrote that, got the Presidential Medal of Freedom yesterday.  And she’s not even right.  She said blacker than any actual black person who could ever be elected in our children’s lifetimes.  Sorry, Obama came along and rendered her wrong.  Not going there, Snerdley.  You can say it all you want.  I’m not going there.  Snerdley wants me to zero in on the blacker than any actual black person, and he thinks the jury is still out on thisNo, no, no.  All I know is that all Bill Clinton had to do to qualify as the first black president is to display almost every trope of blackness.  Here is a civil rights leader and this is what being black is to her.  Single-parent household, born poor, working-class, saxophone-playing, McDonald’s-and-junk-food-loving boy.  And you throw in from Arkansas.  And she wins the Presidential Medal of Freedom, along with Dolores Huerta. Source

The so-called love affair many blacks had with former president Bill Clinton ended during the 2008 presidential campaign when many perceived his “fairy-tale” remark about the Obama campaign as a denigration of then presidential-candidate Barack Obama. Toni Morrison’s comment that Bill Clinton was the face of the black experience in this country wasn’t completely wrong, particularly of those then and today who are growing up in a single-parent household and many born poor. There is nothing socialistic or racist about that.  Call Bill Clinton what ever you want, he knew what it was like to grow up poor. Lost on Rush Limbaugh is the fact that Toni Morrison has enriched many lives with her books and in her classes.

Newark Mayor Cory Booker, a rising star in the Democratic Party, did an about-face after criticizing some of President Obama’s reelection tactics at “nauseating,” releasing a YouTube video expressing his support for the president. Um, a Michael Steele-Rush Limbaugh moment.

In the latest YouTube video, Booker said be believed it was appropriate to fully vet Mitt Romney’s private sector record, clarifying his stunning rebuke of Obama on “Meet the Press,” saying “This kind of stuff is nauseating to me on both sides. It’s nauseating to the American public. Enough is enough. Stop attacking private equity, stop attacking Jeremiah Wright.”

I was in complete agreement with Cory Booker about the “nauseating” vitriol being hurled by both sides, until he decided to pull a Michael Steele and backtrack on his criticism of Obama. Um, what’s he afraid of? His Newark constituents? It’s pretty damning because Cory Booker is an Obama surrogate.
