Sarah Palin Calls on Mitt Romney to Release Tax Returns, Show Proof of 100K Jobs Created at Bain Capital (Wikipedia)

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, AKA “Mama Grizzly,” has called for Gov. Mitt Romney to release his tax returns, as well as the data that  could substantiate his claims of having created 100,000 jobs as CEO of Bain Capital, Big Government reports. Well, I never thought I would say this, but for once Sarah Palin is right. The only problem is that she’s helping the Democrats and President Obama more than the Republican Party.  It’s no surprise that she is taking this position, since her husband, Todd Palin, endorsed Newt Gingrich earlier this week. In other words, Sarah Palin ain’t backing Mitt Romney one bit and I guess the Tea Party may follow her lead. Um, one big problem Sarah Palin — you were never transparent as a governor or vice presidential candidate. She took offense to just about every question she was asked by a journalist other than someone at Fox News.

Nobody is attacking the free market system, but if Mitt Romney claims to have created all these jobs, then he should prove it. President Obama had to show his birth certificate, right? Mitt Romney is building all these castles in the air about how he would balance the budget as president and eradicate the “politics of envy” that President Obama is using to divide the haves from the have nots.

Sarah Palin said that Mitt Romney needed to come clean about his record, particularly since the Democrats would probe the tax issue and his tenure at Bain Capital if he were to become the Republican nominee.

New Tell-All Book Claims Sarah Palin Had One Night Stand with Black Former NBA Player Glen Rice & Snorted Cocaine Off Oil Drum

Joe McGinniss’ upcoming tell-all book about Sarah Palin claims she had one night stand with black former NBA star Glen Rice, snorted cocaine off an oil drum and had six month extramarital affair with Todd Palin’s former business partner, Brad Henson.

We have never professed to care much for the self-perceived “president-in-waiting” Sarah Palin and naturally, we tend to ignore her statements on Fox News, but it is rather interesting that reports of an alleged affair has been disclosed. Sounds fishy to me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no fan of Sarah Palin, but why now? So, let me backtrack a bit….. Joe McGinniss, has written a book, “The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin,” that’s due to be published on September 20, in which he alleges Mrs. Palin, 47, had a one night stand with black former NBA star, Glen Rice and a six month affair with Brad Henson, her husband, Todd Palin’s former business partnet.

McGinniss alleges that she isn’t the traditional family woman she claims to be. Um, we all knew that, considering Bristol Palin got pregnant while she was touting abstinence. Add her son Track to that mix, who had a shotgun wedding after his then-girlfriend got pregnant. So, it’s safe to say, we all know Sarah Palin is one big fraud. Still, why publish the book now? Isn’t the intent to torpedo any chances of her running for the presidency in 2012, or the ruin her reputation, primarily for monetary gain? Where was Mr. McGinniss in 2008? The most damning allegation is that she allegedly “snorted cocaine off a 55 gallon oil drum while snowmobiling with friends,” as he claims. I guess Sarah Palin needs to listen to the lyrics of Shaggy’s song, “It Wasn’t Me.”

Mrs Palin, 47, had a one-night stand with Miami Heat basketball star Glen Rice less than a year before she eloped with her husband, the book claims. She is said to have met the 6ft 8ins player in 1987 when he was playing in a college basketball tournament in Alaska and she worked as a sports reporter for KTUU television. It is also claimed that she had a six month affair with Brad Hanson, who ran a snowmobile dealership with her husband Todd – a betrayal which led to Todd dissolving their business.

In revelations which could strike a devastating blow to the controversial politician’s hopes of joining the 2012 presidential race, Mrs Palin is said to have taken the class A drug with her husband, while smoking marijuana at college in secret liaisons with one of her professors. She allegedly had a tryst with basketball star Glen Rice in her younger sister Molly’s University of Alaska dorm room, while she was dating Todd and just nine months before the couple were married. Mrs Palin got pregnant with Todd and they eloped in August 1988. Their son Track, the oldest of five, was born eight months later in April 1989. Source: Daily Mail

Personally, I hate when people publish books of this nature because it isn’t so much about doing the right thing, but about making money, lots of money. For what it’s worth, this isn’t a book I will run out to buy, nor would I take a free copy from the publisher, as I have done on many occasions to review books. It’s pure garbage. Yes, we know Sarah Palin is a hypocrite and was not even worthy to have served as the governor of Alaska, much less as the president of the U.S.A., but ripping to shreds the little bit of dignity she has left for the sake of money isn’t right.

I am surprised we haven’t heard peep from the Palin camp, considering she loves taking to Facebook, Twitter and Fox News to vent about perceived slights against her and her family. She’s uncharacteristically very quiet on the revelation. Whether the allegations are true or not, she isn’t going to run for the presidency, so I guess it really doesn’t affect her had it been directed towards Mitt Romney, Gov. Rick Perry or even President Barack Obama. On a lighter note, many have said Sarah Palin has been largely aloof and cool towards the black community, well, if the allegations are true about her one night stand with Glen Rice, we can’t make that argument anymore, can we? Just saying, Sarah, tell them, “it wasn’t me!”

Pat Buchanan Says "Todd Palin Ought to Take Levi Johnston Down to the Creek and Hold his Head Underwater until the Thrashing Stops"

I am neither a fan of MSNBC contributor Pat Buchanan nor Levi Johnston, but Mr. Buchanan clearly crossed the line with his comments during his appearance on “Morning Joe” earlier today. He said “Todd Palin ought to take Levi down to the creek and hold his head underwater until the thrashing stops.” Isn’t this the same guy who hammered David Letterman for his comments about Sarah Palin and her daughter? Isn’t this the same man who is staunchly pro-life?

Buchanan is a strong supporter of Sarah Palin and was upset with Levi Johnston’s recent criticism of Sarah Palin, including his appearance on the “Today Show” this morning in which he said Palin, in part, resigned the governorship of Alaska in order to make more money. Buchanan advice to the Palins on how to deal with ad some harsh advice for the Palin family on how to deal with Levi:

Well, first, with regard to Levi, I think First Dude up there in Alaska, Todd Palin, ought to take Levi down to the creek and hold his head underwater until the thrashing stops.

The whole “Morning Joe” gang, including Mika Brzezinski, laughed pretty at Buchanan’s joke, while Mark Halprin added, “That’s a reality show, right there.” It is amazing that Pat Buchanan continues to appear on MSNBC despite his racist stance on many issues. He owes Levi Johnston an apology. Just as he demanded of David Letterman to Sarah Palin. It seems that the mainstream media is playing the role of a bottom feeder in its inexplicable fascination with Levi Johnston. He hasn’t accomplished one thing positive in his life, except perhaps his child, and he’s suddenly making media rounds. What gives?

Gov. Sarah Palin Drops Bombshell, To Step Down, from Office by the End of July, is a Scandal Brewing?

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has dropped a bombshell — she’s stepping down from her office effective July 25, 2009. Okay, my first inclination is to say thank God, but there has to be more to this than meets the eye. She has had a myriad of problems since she went back to Alaska after the McCain/Palin team was roundly trounced in the presidential elections. She will transfer power to Lt. Governor Sean Parnell. Sorry, but I smell a rat. A saidGOP strategist said Palin’s ‘inept’ move could seem ’suspicious’ to many; BradBlog now suggests that Palin’s resignation was due to an upcoming Federal indictment for embezzlement and Max Blumenthal of the Daily Beast suggests the same line of reasoning. He said “one logical place to start looking is the affair that has Alaska political circles buzzing: an alleged scandal centered around a building contractor, Spenard Building Supplies, with close ties to Palin and her husband, Todd.

The announcement came on the same week that one of her top public health officials says she was forced out of office because Palin felt she wasn’t in step on social issues. Some people think that her latest move now allows her to avoid the difficult task of running for president while serving as governor. Hmmm. I don’t think so, but who knows. That’s entirely plausible. If President George W. Bush could serve as president for two terms, well, I guess it’s not entirely far-fetched and hilarious that Sarah Palin could entertain such lofty ambitions.

Todd Palin, the “shadow governor,” told their favorite news outlet, FOX News, that his wife will concentrate on “doing the things for Alaska and the country” that she is passionate about and can not do as governor with the limitation and constant opposition she deals with within the state. Right. There’s more to this than they are letting on. I could say good riddance, but knowing this woman, there’s more to this. If this is just a “cut and run” resignation, it speaks volumes about Sarah Palin’s character. You will remember that it took her five colleges in six years to finish her Bachelor’s degree. This speaks volumes that when the chips are down, Sarah Palin will run. So, for all those people who think she would make a good president of the United States, think again.

Todd Palin Had Unusual Access to Governor Sarah Palin’s Top Aides, Claims She Didn’t Know

Todd Palin finally realized that he didn’t have a leg to stand on and decided to comply with the subpoena. Todd Palin and Gov. Palin’s top aides said that the governor was kept in the dark while her husband repeatedly asked top state officials to help get his former brother-in-law kicked off the state police force. Right. Who is the bigger fool in all this? I am sure she knew what was going on. But wait, it gets better…..

Lawmakers were scheduled to meet Friday and release a report on the case, which could shed light on how Palin governs and what role her husband played in her administration. Yep, seems like we have a “shadow governor” and a potential “shadow vice president.” It seems that the affidavits may help to bolster Sarah Palin’s defense, but they may reveal that her husband met repeatedly with her aides about family affairs. That basically tells me that the governor isn’t really in charge of things, her husband is. It also reinforces the fact that she is far from ready for the vice presidency, let alone the presidency. People were worried that Bill Clinton would overshadow his wife if she was the Democratic candidate for the White House. At least he had tons of experience. What is Todd Palin’s claim to fame? Did he even go to college? Does a commercial fisherman qualify one to be a governor, even a shadow governor?
“I have heard criticism that I am too involved in my wife’s administration,” Todd Palin wrote in his affidavit. “My wife and I are very close. We are each other’s best friend. I have helped her in her career the best I can, and she has helped me.” Geez, so how come she didn’t know you were going behind her back trying to get the guy fired? Todd Palin had an extraordinary level of access to a variety of the governor’s top aides. That is a clear conflict of interest and should never have happened or been allowed. Did the voters of Alaska elect Todd Palin to be their governor?
According to media reports, during his testimony, he told emotional stories about Wooten threatening and emotionally abusing his family. He said he talked to anyone who would listen. He gave them photos and documents, which they forwarded to others in the administration, and he questioned how Wooten kept his job. Even Gov. Palin’s special assistant, Ivy Frye, said she was distraught when she was told about the situation. “I’ve felt empathy for the Palin and Heath families in having to endure harassment, intimidation, threats and abuse from a former family member,” Frye wrote. But Frye said she never talked about it with the governor or mentioned the idea of asking Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan to fire Wooten. Right.
Todd Palin said he never pressured anyone– including his wife. In fact, he says that after talking about the matter with her repeatedly, she finally told him to “drop it.””Anyone who knows Sarah knows she is the governor and she calls the shots,” Todd Palin wrote. “I make no apologies for wanting to protect my family and wanting to publicize the injustice of a violent trooper keeping his badge.” Right, so why was he so adamant about meeting with her top aides despite her position on the issue? The bottom line is that Todd Palin’s behavior will be the very same if his wife becomes the vice president of America. He will be the “shadow VP.” Can we afford to have a whole bunch of idiots running the White House and still retain our dignity in the world? I don’t think so. Be very wary of the “Shadow Governor” of Alaska, who once belonged to a separatist party. Be very wary….
