SAN JACINTO COUNTY, TX (KIAH) Thirteen dogs abandoned in San Jacinto County were rescued by the Houston Humane Society. The shelter saved the dogs after their owners abandoned them.
Upon arrival at the shelter, the veterinary staff noticed that the dogs were underweight and suffering from lacerations, hair loss and overgrown claws. Some dogs are also pregnant. All 13 dogs have been returned to the Houston Humane Society, where they will be given up for adoption in hopes of finding their permanent homes.
