The New England #Patriots have released Aaron Hernandez.
Report: New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was seen leaving his Attleborough, Mass., home Wednesday morning in handcuffs and went into a police cruiser. Police believe he has something to do with the murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, whose body was found a mile from his home.
It was not immediately clear on what charges he was arrested.
According to NewsCenter 5 photographer Steve Menard, officers went to his home Wednesday and knocked on the door. Hernandez answered and was handcuffed and taken into custody.
On Tuesday, the court sealed documents related to the killing of a semi-pro football player found dead a mile from his home.
Attleboro District Court officials said documents related to the case, including search warrants, were impounded, meaning the public can’t see them.
