GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN: The NTSB will not investigate the Tennessee bus crash due to furloughs as a result of the Ted Cruz-engineered government shutdown over defunding Obamacare.

A NTSB official told NBC News, that the National Transportation Safety Board is not sending anyone to investigate yesterday’s deadly bus crash in Tennessee because the government shutdown furloughed all of its highway investigators.

“In this particular case I think it’s highly likely that we would have responded to it, but again, with our investigators furloughed, it’s impossible to do that,” Sharon Bryson, deputy director of communications for the NTSB, NBC News reports.

The victims in the bus crash were members of the Young at Heart Ministry, from the Front Street Baptist Church, from Statesville, NC, who were attending the annual Fall Jubilee in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
