Sen. Rand Paul to File Class Action Lawsuit Against President Obama, NSA

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), who is also a 2016 presidential hopeful, plans to file a class action lawsuit against President Obama and the National Security Agency, with the help of Freedom Works President Matt Kibbe and former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.

Sen. Paul issued a statement from his RandPac, saying, “I am filing a lawsuit against President Barack Obama because he has publicly refused to stop a clear and continuing violation of the 4th Amendment.””The Bill of Rights protects all citizens from general warrants. I expect this case to go all the way to the Supreme Court and I predict the American people will win.”

Sen. Paul, Matt Kibbe, and Ken Cuccinelli will hold a press conference to announce the lawsuit at 11 a.m. ET at the U.S. district court in Washington, DC.
