A new case of the deadly Ebola virus has been diagnosed in Mali’s capital city of Bamako and is not linked to the first case involving a two-year-old girl from Guinea who died in Kayes on Oct. 24.
Information Minister Mahamadou Camara tweeted that a case had been confirmed and that a clinic in Bamako had been placed under quarantine.
Cas Ebola confirme à Bko. Clinique Pasteur en quarantaine. Intensifier mesures de prévention. Appeler numéros verts pour tout cas suspect.
