VH1’s newest reality show, “Sorority Sisters,” will certainly have sorors going off or praising the show on social media when it premieres on Dec. 15.
“Sorority Sisters” highlights the lives of several Atlanta women who attended historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and pledged a black sorority.
Gee, I wonder what people would say if VH1 went to predominantly white schools such as the University of New Hampshire looking for people who pledged sororities. Would the reaction be simply a shoulder shrug?
A petition to stop “Sorority Sisters” fell on deaf ears after it amassed 46,000 signatures to pull the show. Oh, well. You can expect the usual reality show drama.
