Danish-born Omar Abdel Hamid El-Hussein has been identified as the Copenhagen shooter. He is believed to be the terror suspect who gunned down Finn Norgaard and Dan Uzan in separate shootings in Copenhagen.
Omar Abdel Hamid El-Hussein was killed after opening fire on Danish officers who had closed dow the Norrebro train station and surrounding areas.
El-Hussein was known to Danish intelligence. He reportedly was involved in gang-related activities and possession of weapons. Danish news reports that El-Hussein “was released from jail only two weeks ago after serving a term for aggravated assault.”
Two other men were arrested in a raid on an internet cafe.
