The Tunisian government said 17 tourists were killed in the Bardo Museum attack in Tunisia’s capital city of Tunis. Two of the attackers were also killed. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack but it is a strong possibility that ISIS may be involved. No Americans were among those killed.

The gunmen in the Tunisia attack were dressed in military attire. Scores of people were injured in the museum attack.

A cruise ship had recently docked in the harbor and it is believed some of the tourists killed in the attack were passengers on that ship.
