Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), who is expected to throw his hat in the ring for the 2016 presidential election, seems to have a little problem on his hands, that may rear its head in the near future.

Politico is focusing on a house he jointly owns with scandal-plagued ex-Rep. David Rivera (R-FL). Can you say, if you live in a glass house don’t throw stones?

“In many ways, it has been a house of horrors for Rubio, a financial and political liability heading into the 2016 election. While he and Rivera were state legislators, they paid way too much for it in 2005, only to see it go embarrassingly into foreclosure for a spell during Rubio’s 2010 Senate race… Now, the three-bedroom property stands as a stubborn symbol of both a politically problematic friendship and lingering questions about Rubio’s personal finances, which dogged him on the campaign trail in 2010 and may do so again.”

Imagine if Barack Obama had a house that went into foreclosure? Better yet, imagine if he had a questionable friendship with someone like David Rivera? Um, wait, he did and he had to disavow Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
