Curtis Banks and Marvin Banks charged for murders of two Hattiesburg cops
Marvin Banks and Curtis Banks have been arrested for the shooting death of two Hattiesburg police officers on Saturday evening. The third person arrested in the shooting death of the two officers was identified as Joanie Calloway, the girlfriend of Marvin Banks. They are facing two counts of capital murder, while Curtis Banks was charged as an accessory.
Cornelius Clark, 28, was charged with obstruction of justice in connection with the murders. He was allegedly in the vehicle at the time of the killing.
Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict confirmed that the two officers died from the injuries they sustained in the shooting.
The murdered cops have been identified as Officers Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25.

WDAM reports Marvin Banks and Curtis Banks fled the scene in a police cruiser, which has since been found abandoned near railroad tracks.
The officers were gunned down after a traffic stop on Gordon Street. The two suspects have a long rap sheet.
