Two shot outside Pamela Geller Muhammad art exhibit in Garland

Two people were shot to death outside the Curtis Culwell Center where an arts event featuring caricatures of Muhammad was being held.

Bruce Joiner, a security guard, suffered a non-life threatening injury after two men opened fire outside the Muhammad art event.

Pamela Geller, who was hosting the event, reported that a bomb squad was on the scene following the shooting.

The Dallas Morning News, reports that the contest, which was offering a top prize of $10,000, had received about 350 entries depicting Muhammad.
