It seems some black voters are having buyer’s remorse over their support for the nation’s first black president — Barack Obama. They are wondering if it was worth it. To those people I say, you should vote for a candidate based on where they stand on the issues that are important to you, not based on the color of their skin. Now they are wondering if they should even vote in the 2016 presidential election.
Regenia Motley told the Washington Post, “What was the point?” “We made history, but I don’t see change.”
What change did Ms. Motley expect to see? Saying you may not vote in the next election is exactly what the Republican Party wants to hear. The less people coming out for the Democrats, the more likely a win on their side will be.
I get it, people are fed up with both parties. But, which is the lesser of two evils? Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush, who is getting pushed further and further to the right?
