GOP presidential runner Donald Trump addressed a half-empty room of people at the South Carolina African American Chamber of Commerce’s annual conference. Um, one glaring problem — the half empty room was mostly white people, MSNBC reports. Gee, I wonder, did he get at least a 25% turnout of black attendees?
But the view from the media area in the back of the ballroom wasn’t so bright: the last seven rows of seats were empty and while Trump’s largely-white supporters jumped and cheered for their candidate, black conference-goers looked on with far less enthusiasm.
What’s funny is that Donald Trump, who tweets every chance he gets, is mum on the turn-out in South Carolina today.
