Charges against Louisiana assistant principal Robert Marks were upgraded to first degree murder and first degree feticide in the deaths of teacher Lyntell Washington and her unborn child.
Marks, who is the assistant principal at Brookstown Middle School, was the father of the unborn baby. Washington had reportedly threatened to tell Marks wife about their affair.
Lyntell Washington was found in a ditch with a gunshot wound to the head on Tuesday.
Robert Marks was charged with aggravated kidnapping and child desertion for allegedly abandoning Washington’s 3-year-old daughter in a parking lot near her vehicle.
