Trump Demands Apology from ‘Hamilton’ Cast After They Went After Mike Pence

Trump tweeted:  “The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!” Um, I guess Trump didn’t get the memo that his sidekick is a known homophobe.

Of course, Trump doesn’t honor the right to free speech when it is critical of him or the people around him.

Brandon Victor Dixon, the actor playing Aaron Burr, read a statement on behalf of his castmates during the final curtain call. There were loud boos aimed at Mike Pence when he entered and left the Richard Rogers theater

Dixon:  “We are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir,” said “Hamilton” star Dixon, after urging audience members to record and share the video and message on social media. “But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values, and work on behalf of all of us.”

#BoycottHamilton:  Some Trump supporters are calling for a boycott of Hamilton. Um, one problem with that….the tickets are already sold out for months. This is about to backfire like the Starbucks campaign a bunch of his supporters started.
