Former President Obama and his wife had the best vacation on Richard Branson’s Necker Island. Well, the photographs show Obama in what critics have deemed an extremely “chill situation.”
“One of the first stories Barack told me when he and Michelle arrived on Moskito Island was how, just before he became President, he had been surfing on a dangerous break in Hawaii,” Branson wrote in a blog post on Tuesday.
“When he came in from an exhilarating session, the new head of his security team turned to him and said: ‘This will be the last time you surf for eight years.’ For the next eight years he didn’t have the chance to surf, enjoy watersports or do many of the things he loved.”
Last week a video surfaced of Obama wearing a backwards hat, sunglasses, flip flops. But the latest pictures, which were posted on Richard Branson’s blog, shows Obama was doing his thing. Can you blame him?

The blog post ends with Branson revealing that he and President Obama have already made plans “to do the long kite over Anegada [Passage] together” the next time he visits.
