Twitter erupted into mockery after top White House aide Kellyanne Conway floats microwave oven spying claim as a tactic President Barack Obama could have used to surveil Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Conway suggested to the Bergen County Record that the “surveillance” of Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign may have gone beyond the totally false phone wiretaps.
Conway said, “What I can say is there are many ways to surveil each other. You can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets — any number of ways.”
She added that monitoring could be done with “microwaves that turn into cameras.” “We know this is a fact of modern life.”
Trump tweeted that the media is being rude to his “representatives.” Um, I wonder why? Maybe because they are such f*cking liars and push conspiracy theories, no matter how ridiculous they come across.
It is amazing how rude much of the media is to my very hard working representatives. Be nice, you will do much better!

MSNBC’s Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski ripped Conway to shreds over her microwave spying claim:

SOMEONE is watching me from my microwave! Per Kellyanne Conway, it's probably Obama. I hope he doesn't report me for too much pizza…

#KellyanneConway I keep my microwave low behind a closed cabinet so it can't see anything except food, my hands, and my knees.
