Hillary Clinton’s new memoir, What Happened, describes her intense personal experience” of becoming the first woman presidential nominee of a major party, publisher Simon & Schuster told the AP.
The 2016 presidential election was “marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules.”
Clinton has told longtime allies that the book is her way of “getting the whole story out there from her perspective.”
The release date for Mrs. Clinton’s memoir will be September 12, 2017.
