Donald Trump embarrassed himself at the United Nations in his first-ever remarks on Monday by shamefully plugging his Trump World Tower across the street, saying that it was a successful project. It’s all about me, me, me, me with the narcissist.
While chairing a United Nations meeting on “Management, Security and Development,” Trump started his remarks by taking a humongous ego trip in front of a global audience.
He took a victory lap for his decision to build Trump World Tower across the street from the UN headquarters. He told the international dignitaries in the audience, “I actually saw great potential right across the street, to be honest with you, but it was only for the reason that the United Nations was here that that turned out to be such a successful project.”
There are currently condos available for sale at the building ranging from under a million dollars to $10.5 million. Donald Trump views the presidency as a vehicle to make money, lots of money. He has no respect for institutions such as the United Nations. He’s obsessed with trying to show the world how great of a businessman he is, when the opposite is true.
Reaction on Twitter is just as you would expect — mockery and disbelief of Trump’s stupidity:
Good Lord. @realdonaldtrump's first words to the United Nations are about his building across the street.

The United States should lose our permanent security council membership for electing Donald Trump. "United Nations"
