Former President George W. Bush burned Donald Trump without calling his name, saying, “Our politics seems more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication.” Bush ripped Trumpism in every way possible and it was glorious! He literally passed the baton of the worst president ever to Donald Trump.
Bush said, “Bigotry seems emboldened. Our politics seems more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication,” Bush said during his speech at the Bush Institute’s Spirit of Liberty event in New York City.
“Bigotry or white supremacy in any form is blasphemy against the American creed.” In other words, white supremacists aren’t some “very fine people,” like Donald Trump said in the aftermath of the hate-fueled Charlottesville violence.
“And our young people need positive role models. Bullying and prejudice in our public life sets a national tone, provides permission for cruelty and bigotry, and compromises the moral education of children.”

“When we lose sight of our ideals, it is not democracy that has failed. It is the failure of those charged with protecting and defending democracy,” he said in another diss of Trump. “We need to recall and recover our own identity. Americans have great advantage. To renew our country, we only need to remember our values.”

Bush also talked about the Russian interference in the presidential election. “The Russian government has made a project of turning Americans against each other.”

“This is a unique moment. The great democracies face new and serious threats yet seem to be losing confidence in their own calling and competence,” Bush said concluding his remarks. (CLICK HERE to read President Bush’s full speech)
I am no fan of George W. Bush, but he dropped some hard truths today and called out Donald Trump without using his name. He unleashed a can of whoop ass on Trump. Decent Republicans must stand up and take their party back for this white supremacist bully. Of course, the deplorables who worship Donald Trump are having a freakout on Twitter.
UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, former secretaries of state Condoleezza Rice and Madeleine Albright, as well as former First Lady Laura Bush also spoke at the event.

When George W. Bush sounds like the voice of reason, you know something is drastically wrong with this moron that occupies the White House.
