Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) responded to John Kelly’s refusal to apologize for his shameful smear against her saying that “he owes the nation an apology.”
Wilson tweeted: “I stand by what I said. John Kelly owes the nation an apology because when he lied about me, he lied to the American public.”

Kelly told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Monday, that he will “absolutely not apologize” to Rep. Wilson for lying about her 2015 speech at the dedication of a new FBI building in Miramar, Fla. Kelly also called Wilson an “empty barrel” during the press briefing in which he lied about her speech. Like Roland Martin said, Kelly isn’t man enough to apologize for telling a blatant lie.
