Twitter obliterates Donald Trump for lying yet again about the Myeshia Johnson phone call, who said he “couldn’t even remember my husband’s name.” She broke her silence on Day 7 of the controversy stemming from a phone call to her from Donald Trump after her husband, Sgt. La David Johnson, was killed in an ambush in Niger on Oct. 4.
Now he’s calling Myeshia Johnson a liar. Let that sink in…..
Trump tweeted: “I have a very respectful conversation with the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, ans spoke his name from the beginning, without hesitation.”
I had a very respectful conversation with the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, and spoke his name from beginning, without hesitation!

That was clearly a lie….Mrs. Johnson said his tone of voice sounded angry and that he “made me cry even worse.” She confirmed “Whatever Ms. Wilson said was not fabricated. What she said was 100% correct.” She noted that the call was placed on speaker phone by the service member who had been traveling in the limousine with them to meet La David’s body at the airport.
Any normal person would feel some shame at distressing this grieving widow. She was so disgusted by the phone call that she said, “I have nothing to say to him.”

Twitter clapped back at Donald Trump fast and harsh:
I hope everyone watches this for a better sense of the grief felt by families of fallen soldiers. They loved our best. God Bless all of them https://t.co/68aAMyDt7W

We don't believe you. You are a con man. Nothing you do is respectful. Leave this woman and her family alone. You've done enough damage. https://t.co/rUJ3za32OS

We don’t believe you.
We believe Myeshia Johnson.
Let her husband rest in peace.

If Myeshia Johnson were white Donald Trump wouldn’t be attacking her. But Trump’s a white supremacist & this is how white supremacist’s act.

With Myeshia Johnson's interview, that appearance by John Kelly looks even more grotesque now.
— Benjy Sarlin (@BenjySarlin) October 23, 2017
He's now calling Mrs. Johnson a liar. I wonder if Kelly will weigh in on that? https://t.co/Vo2F6NNWaj

One of the oft-cited arguments for standing during the anthem is respecting the sacrifice of military service members and their families. pic.twitter.com/Evx2VOscB4

Normal person would say, “I feel terrible that I distressed her in any way.”
This is what a sociopath says: https://t.co/FpiPEXOMpR

He’s not calling a gold Star widow a liar now, is he? Please tell me the supposed leader of our country isn’t taking his time to do this! https://t.co/8P7oinxYPJ

I’m sorry. I was wrong. He’s calling her a liar. Disgusting. Disrespectful. Beneath the dignity of the office. https://t.co/boCOuOWp58

He's now literally arguing with the widow. This is not how a President acts. https://t.co/fCopIKprYc

Imagine trying to get the moral high ground over the widow of a fallen soldier. That's disgraceful. https://t.co/x0slYneoR7

Sadly, like the Khan family, Trump will now attack Mrs Myeshia Johnson and her family. This beneath the office of the Presidency

We know Trump didn’t know Sgt. Johnson’s name. He’s lazy, ill-prepared, and dishonest, but he could have had a cue card. WH screwed up. https://t.co/YfC0dvgfWM

Oh yeah so the widow must be the one lying right? You are disgusting
— Brian Krassenstein? (@krassenstein) October 23, 2017
So we're now at the point where Trump is flat out calling the Gold Star widow a liar. Great.
