Twitter Bursts Out Laughing Over Donald Trump’s Weak Attack After Steve Bannon’s Bombshell Comments

Twitter bursts out laughing over Donald Trump’s weak attack after Steve Bannon’s bombshell comments about his campaign and the Russia investigation were released.

Bannon’s bombshell comments are part of Michael Wolff’s new book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House. The Guardian saw the forthcoming manuscript in which Wolff said he had unprecedented access to many members of the Trump administration.

Bannon said some things about Trump and his family that are sure to irk Trump:

  • He said special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe will eventually turn to Donald Trump Jr. “They’re going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV,” Bannon said.
  • He said the Trump Tower meeting with the Russians was “bad shit” and “treasonous.”“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately,” Bannon said. “But that’s the brain trust that they had.”“The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor – with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers.”
  • He didn’t mince words when it came to Jared Kushner, characterizing his mess as “greasy.”“This is all about money laundering. Mueller chose Andrew Weissmann first and he is a money-laundering guy. Their path to fucking Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jr. and Jared Kushner, Bannon said. “It’s as plain as a hair on your face.”“It goes through Deutsche Bank and all the Kushner shit. The Kushner shit is greasy. They’re going to go right through that. They’re going to roll those two guys up and say play me or trade me.”

Donald Trump couldn’t resist going on the attack. He said, “When he [Steve Bannon] was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind.” I know someone who seems to have lost his mind and it ain’t Steve Bannon. In fact, he has all his faculties in place.

Trump said, “Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn’t represent my base — he’s only in it for himself.”

“Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It’s the only thing he does well.”

LMAO. This is hilarious.

Um, by the way, here was Trump’s tweet about Bannon in August: “I want to thank Steve Bannon for his service. He came to the campaign during my run against Crooked Hillary — it was great. Thanks S.”
