Donald Trump ranted like a lunatic after Robert Mueller lights the fuse that led to the Michael Cohen raid by FBI agents on Monday. The raid comes days after Trump told a journalist that he did not know anything about the payment to Stormy Daniels and that they should ask Cohen.
During a meeting with the joint chiefs of staff about possible military action against Syria after Bashar al Assad used chemical weapons against people in Douma, Trump ranted about the FBI, Rod Rosenstein, James Comey and Jeff Sessions recusing himself from the Russia investigation. He literally confessed to obstruction of justice on live TV. Meanwhile, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, who signed off on the FBI warrant, is Geoff Berman, a Trump appointee. He was also a former partner at Rudy Giuliani’s firm.

This is a big deal because the FBI has snagged all Donald Trump’s papers from his personal lawyer’s office. Yeah, I would be triggered too if I knew I had something to hide. Who knew that Stormy Daniels had it in her to keep coming after Trump over the hush money they paid her 11 days before the 2016 presidential election?
There had to have been overwhelming evidence of crimes to have so many people sign off on the warrants used by the FBI to raid Cohen’s office on Monday. This raid has sent shockwaves through the political landscape because this is the personal attorney of a sitting president.
The New York Times was the first to report on the Michael Cohen raid. Vanity Fair then confirmed that the FBI had raided Cohen’s hotel room. The Washington Post reports that Cohen is being targeted for alleged bank and wire fraud, as well as campaign finance violations.
