House Speaker Paul Ryan’s rival Randy Bryce raises a record $2.1 million for the first quarter of 2018 with no corporate donations.

Bryce’s campaign announced on Monday that it has raised $4.75 million since last June and has nearly $2.3 million in cash on hand. The campaign also added 45,000 new donors since the start of 2018.

Bryce faces long odds in his quest to unseat Ryan, who has held the Wisconsin seat for 20 years. But because of Donald Trump’s unpopularity, it is not clear if Ryan will run for reelection. He has yet to announce his intentions.

Ryan’s campaign announced in January that he had raised $44 million dollars. He transferred $32 million to the National Republican Congressional Committee.
