Baltimore resident David Katz, 24, has been identified as the Madden video game tournament mass shooter. The suspect is also a gamer.

Katz, 24, reportedly opened fire during the Madden video game tournament at a video arcade in Jacksonville Landing on Sunday. Police say three people are dead and 11 injured. The gunman is among the dead.

The Miami Herald reports the two people killed in the shooting as Eli Clayton and Taylor Robertson.

The FBI is calling the investigation a criminal matter and is currently searching an address in Baltimore.

WJXT reports commentators at a previous tournament described Katz as “a man of business. Here’s not here for the experience. … He’s not here to make friends. He’s all business, he’s focused. To even get him to open up to you to talk about anything is like pulling teeth.”
