Bernie Bro Ben Jealous trails Larry Hogan (R) by double digits in the Maryland governor’s race, according to a new poll — 54% to 32%.
A key finding in the poll from Goucher on Gov. Hogan’s lead is that “in addition to Hogan securing his Republican base by large margins, the poll found he had the support of 38 percent of Maryland Democrats, who outnumber GOP voters in the state by more than 2 to 1.”
The poll also found Hogan leading Jealous 64% to 22% with male voters; 47% to 38% with women voters. Jealous seems to be having a tough time with black voters. He leads Hogan 49% to 35%.
Hogan has been a mostly good governor for Maryland. He reminds me a lot of outgoing Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal. I voted for him when he ran for reelection and I am glad I did. He has been mostly good for the state and has the support of many Democrats.
