Twitter puts Morning Joe on blast after former Mississippi governor Haley Barbour says the GOP has become “more purist.” Um, in other words, he means the GOP has become more white supremacist.
Of course, Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough remained silent as Barbour uttered those words. Well, that’s because Hillary Clinton’s name didn’t come up. You know they just love to bash the Clintons for every single thing.
Barbour, who led one of the lowest achieving states in America, is suddenly the expert on GOP politics. He represents a throwback to the dark ages of America and it’s baffling as to why they decided to dust him off and bring him on their show while they rail against Donald Trump for harboring some of the same views — racist AF.
Reaction on Twitter:
Oh! I got it!
Haley Barbour is saying that the Republican Party, the party of "family values," is more "purist" now because because Trump has a huge family of unprotected sex partners, wives & Lord knows how many children from multiple sex partners.
Pure Republican, alrighty! pic.twitter.com/7upYjedNcT

Isn't asking Haley Barbour to assess the politics of the new south with two black gubernatorial candidates the same as asking David Duke to assess race relations in America? Who is producing Morning Joe? Awful partisan assessment from the former Mississippi governor. Bad move.

@Morning_Joe Haley Barbour: Dems have moved left, Republicans haven’t moved. Translation: Dems reflect evolving recognition of the rights and dignity of each individual, humanitarian progress. Republicans still hate the civil rights movement.

@Morning_Joe, thanks to Haley Barbour for coming on this morning to let us know there is no such thing as a decent Republican. He’s disgusting.

Haley Barbour , and his mucous-filled rantings about the Democrats in the south, is such a bad way to begin your day before even coffee has been brewed.
