Sen. Ted Cruz commits political malpractice after he tweeted a video featuring Beto O’Rourke speaking at a church about Botham Shem Jean, the unarmed black man shot in his apartment by a white Dallas cop. It backfires big time. It actually helped O’Rourke. So, a bunch of black people cheering as O’Rourke spoke has Cruz triggered.
Cruz tweeted a video of O’Rourke in speaking at a church and slamming the disproportionate murders of black men by white police officers. O’Rourke cited the recent murder of Jean, who was murdered by Amber Guyger after she claims she mistook his apartment for hers. She claims Jean did not obey her “verbal commands,” in his own apartment.

O’Rourke didn’t say anything wrong. He was right to call out the high numbers of black men killed by police officers compared to white men. Who is the genius that told Cruz that was a smart video to post in an attempt to attack O’Rourke?Cook Political Report rates the race for the once solidly red seat, a toss up, with a slight edge for O’Rourke.
Reaction on Twitter after tweet from Ted Cruz about Beto O’Rourke backfires big time:
Thanks to former Senator Ted Cruz for sharing this inspiring video of Senator Beto O’Rourke!

Thank you for spreading the word on how inspiring @BetoORourke is to people across this country! I hadn’t seen this video and it’s amazing. He’s lucky to have a supportive opponent like you, Mr. Cruz!
