Rose Mallinger, 97, among the 11 people murdered by anti-Semite Robert Bowers in the Pittsburgh synagogue mass shooting on Saturday.
Chief Medical Examiner Dr Karl Williams identified the 11 victims: Joyce Fineburg, 75; Richard Gottfried, 65; Jerry Rabinowitz, 66; Melvin Wax, 88; brothers Cecil and David Rosenthal, 59 and 54 respectively; couple Bernice and Sylvan Simon, 84 and 86 respectively; Daniel Stein, 71 and Irvin Younger, 69. Four officers were also shot during the mass shooting.
Bowers, armed with three Glock guns and an assault rifle, shouted “kill all Jews” as he was taken into custody after the mass shooting at Tree of Life Synagogue. He trafficked in conspiracy theories, much like the ones Donald Trump has been pushing, including that George Soros was behind the caravan heading to the U.S. border. That was a lie.
Bowers said he did not vote for Trump, who he called a “globalist” who was bought by Jews. He wrote on his Gab account that “there is no #MAGA as long as there is a k*ke infestation.”
Robert Bowers is facing 29 charges, including 11 counts of using a firearm to commit murder, multiple counts of two hate crimes, obstruction of exercise of religious beliefs resulting in death and obstruction of exercise of religious beliefs resulting in bodily injury to a public safety officer.
According to the affidavit charging Bowers, armed with an AR-15, was able to outmaneuver a highly trained SWAT team. So much for Donald Trump repeating NRA talking points that an armed officer inside the synagogue would have made a difference.
