Donald Trump’s response to Michael Cohen’s bombshell about Trump Tower Moscow project: “I was lightly looking into doing a building somewhere in Russia.” Oh, he means lightly treasonous. Trump repeatedly denied on the campaign trail that he had any dealings with Russia.
Trump tweeted: “Oh, I get it! I am a very good developer, happily living my life, when I see our Country going in the wrong direction (to put it mildly). Against all odds, I decide to run for President & continue to run my business-very legal & very cool, talked about it on the campaign trail. Lightly looked at doing a building somewhere in Russia. Put up zero money, zero guarantees and didn’t do the project. Witch Hunt!”
The problem is, he repeatedly denied doing business in Russia, even as he knew he was trying to make the Trump Tower Moscow deal a reality. His team was working directly with the Kremlin. That’s also while it was revealed that Vladimir Putin was trying to interfere in the presidential election.

Michael Cohen’s flipping and telling all to Special Counsel Robert Mueller has Trump triggered in so many ways because he was one of his personal lawyers for 12 years. The dude knows where all the bodies are buried.
Hillary Clinton called it when she blasted Trump during one of the presidential debates for his bromance with Putin, that includes hinting at what is now Michael Cohen’s bombshell about doing business in Russia. In fact, we all owe her an apology because every single thing she said during the 2016 presidential campaign was true.
