Rudy Giuliani messes up and admits that federal prosecutors are going through Donald Trump’s business records back to 1982 or 1983.

During an appearance on Fox News Sunday, Giuliani argued that Michael Cohen’s crimes were not really crimes. Of course, that’s not true, but there were some interesting bits of information from Giuliani’s rants. He did not specify what information prosecutors might be looking for, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

An article from New York Magazine might shed some light on what prosecutors might be looking for. The article covered ties between Trump and Russia going back to the late 1980s.

Giuliani also said that Trump Tower Moscow negotiations continued until November 2016. So, that begs the question…who from Trump Organization took over the talks when Michael Cohen stopped in June?

Rudy seems to have moved on from “truth isn’t truth” to “unless you’re god, you’ll never know what the truth is.” The more he talks, the more he sinks his client.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the prosecutors with the Southern District of New York are looking at all of Trump’s business dealings going to when he was in financial hardship.

This comes as Rep. Adam Schiff, the incoming chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said he plans to subpoena records from Deutsche Bank about its dealings with Trump.

Incoming New York Attorney General Letitia James has warned that she will be launching a far-reaching investigation into Trump, his businesses and people in his orbit to uncover any crimes.
