Donald Trump was busted for lying that former presidents told him privately that they should have built the wall on the Southern border.

Former President Bill Clinton’s spokesman clapped back saying he said no such thing and has not spoken to Trump since the inauguration.

Former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama’s spokespeople are also saying no such conversation occurred.

Bush spokesman Freddy Ford also said the two men had not discussed the matter. And Obama, for his part, has not spoken with Trump since his inauguration, except for a brief exchange at George H.W. Bush’s funeral in Washington, D.C.

Obama has consistently blasted Trump’s pledge to build a border wall. “Suggesting that we can build an endless wall along our borders, and blame our challenges on immigrants — that doesn’t just run counter to our history as the world’s melting pot, it contradicts the evidence that our growth and our innovation and our dynamism has always been spurred by our ability to attract strivers from every corner of the globe,” he said in 2016. Now former President Jimmy Carter s weighing in. He tweeted:  “I have not discussed the border wall with President Trump and do not support him on the issue.”

I am also pretty sure President George H.W. Bush never addressed that with Trump before he died. He couldn’t stand him and voted for Hillary Clinton.

As always, if Donald Trump is talking or tweeting, there’s a 100% chance that he’s lying. What’s also pathetic is that his lies are easily disproved. But he lies any way.

During a presser in the Rose Garden, Trump admitted that he did tell Sen. Chuck Schumer and others attending a meeting about the Trump government shutdown, that he will close the government for “months and even years” until he gets the border wall.

You know, the same wall he repeatedly said Mexico is going to pay for but now wants to hold federal workers to force Americans to pay for it.
