Michael Cohen confirms he paid Jerry Falwell Jr.’s Liberty University CIO to rig online polls “at the direction of and for the sole benefit” of Donald Trump.
Cohen’s admission comes after the Wall Street Journal published a bombshell report stating that Cohen gave John Gauger $12,000 to $13,000 in a blue Walmart bag to rig two online polls — Drudge Report and CNBC polls. The deal was to pay Gauger $50,000 for the scheme.
Cohen tweeted: “As for the @WSJ article on poll rigging, what I did was at the direction of and for the sole benefit of @realDonaldTrump @POTUS. I truly regret my blind loyalty to a man who doesn’t deserve it.”

In other words, the fake polls Donald Trump was screaming about were actually coming from his campaign. This is too funny. I can’t wait for Cohen’s testimony before the House Oversight Committee on Feb. 7.
Walmart is getting dragged into something it had nothing to do with. The blue bag is gonna make the rounds of social media.

Michael Cohen meets with @JerryFalwellJr, resulting in the first very early endorsement of Trump by big evangelical leader.
Michael Cohen gives bag of cash to Falwell’s techology officer, and he is reimbursed $50,000 by Trump Org.
Address this Jerry.

WSJ reports Michael Cohen hired someone to try to rig an online CNBC poll on influential business leaders to get Trump on the list (https://t.co/JQAllzAwCx); Cohen now says he did it at Trump's direction; when Trump lost anyway, he tweeted this (found by @kyledcheney): pic.twitter.com/9d9MCFtAfW

Everything you did was at the direction of your boss. While you are culpable of bad judgement, he’s 10 times more culpable. He needs to pay. He needs a much longer prison time than you.
