Donald Trump calls for Rep. Ilhan Omar’s resignation over her anti-Semitic tweets despite her apology and it immediately backfires: “When have you ever apologized for your embrace of white nationalism,” Chelsea Clinton tweeted.
During a press spray at his cabinet meeting, Trump said Omar should resign from Congress or the House Foreign Affairs Committee because of her anti-Semitic tweets. “Her lame apology, and that’s what it was, it was lame, and she didn’t mean a word of it was just not appropriate. I think she should resign from Congress,” Trump said.
Um, at least Ilhan Omar apologized:

Donald Trump, who has a history of racist, xenophobic, sexist and nationalist rhetoric, enraged Twitter with his attack on Rep. Omar. This is the same person who led the racist birther movement against President Barack Obama. He also called for the death penalty for the Central Park Five, even after they were exonerated. He attacks women, blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, and even mocked a disabled reporter.
Trump has yet to call for Rep. Steve King’s (R-IA) resignation, who has a history of white nationalism, but he’s content to go after the black woman, which proves the point that he’s a racist. He was also mum on Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) posing in a Confederate hat in photos posted on Facebook and even joking about attending a public hanging.
Chelsea Clinton tweeted: “When have you ever apologized for your embrace of white nationalism & your exploitation & amplification of anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, racist, xenophobic, anti-LGBTQ hate?”
President Trump, the man who is accused of raping his own ex-wife, grabbing women by their genitals, refusing to rent apartments to African Americans, making anti-semitic remarks, and joking about mass genocide of Native Americans is calling on Ilhan Omar to resign.

Trump’s silence on Steve King vs his stance on Ilhan Omar really says all you need to know about how he uses feigned outrage for the sake of political expediency. No one should cover this like he really cares, but they probably will anyway.

If only she understood what a brilliant fundraising opportunity was just dropped in her lap…

I am calling on Cindy Hyde from Mississippi to resign for her racist views on sitting on the front row of a lynching! She should never be able to govern people in any capacity.
