Twitter has a field day after Donald Trump says he can’t be impeached because he’s “doing the best job of any president in the history of our country.”

During an interview on CBS News, Trump told lie after lie, but the remark that prompted widespread laughter and ridicule was about his job performance. “The problem is you can’t impeach somebody for doing the best job of any president, in the history of our country, for the first two years,” Trump said.

Bill Clinton was one good president who was impeached. His law license was revoked and he ended up paying millions in legal fees. Then there was Richard Nixon, who was forced out of office in disgrace over Watergate.

In other words, a so-called president, who is an asset of a hostile foreign power, obstructs justice, engages in witness tampering and intimidation, lies constantly, may have engaged in tax evasion and violates human rights just about every day, can certainly be impeached.
