Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris claps back at her critics, including Boyce Watkins, who attacked her because she married a white man: “I love my husband.” Enough said.
During an interview on The Breakfast Club radio show, Harris was asked about people questioning her marriage to Douglas Emhoff and her blackness.
She said, “Look, I love my husband, and he happened to be the one that I chose to marry, because I love him—and that was that moment in time, and that’s it.””And he loves me,” she added.
Harris also said she smoked pot in college and “I inhaled.” Of course, the haters will have a feeding frenzy just like when Hillary Clinton said she kept hot sauce in her purse.
Boyce Watkins got a verbal beatdown on Twitter after he questioned her motives for marrying a white man. He tweeted: “Kamala Harris marrying a white guy is a typical power move among some ambitious black women. It gets them access to the club.”

Um, she was attorney general for the state of California when she married Emhoff. Seems to me like he’s the one who married up. Boyce Watkins chose the wrong hill to die on….Idiot.
